This calendar is designed to facilitate better coordination in the booking and arrangements of key meetings by the members of the Coordination of International Support to Somalis (CISS) constituencies. Key meetings are those that involve the participation of several members of one constituency or more.   

Member of the constituencies are requested to consult the calendar prior to booking and arranging key meetings in order to ensure that the time/date and venue are suitable for the intended participants and avoid booking more than one key meeting at the same time and date and this can be avoided by consulting the calendar.  

The calendar also provides facilities for booking meetings through the Secretariat. An application form is provided and should be submitted to the Secretariat to ensure that the meeting is booked and posted on the calendar. The booking is for all key meetings that involve participation from the CISS constituencies and include those meetings that are arranged to take place in other venues outside the Secretariat. Members of the constituencies should feel free to use the conference rooms and other facilities at the Secretariat by indicating their preference when completing the booking form.  Members are also encouraged to complete the forms especially for ad-hoc meetings that involve delegations from abroad.  

In addition, there is a section designated for sharing information on visits, missions and other events that members would like to share with other constituencies. An application form is available for completion and submission to the Secretariat to include the details in the list of visits, mission or events.

Finally, to ensure better coordination in arranging key meetings, members of the constituencies are urged to regularly consult and use the calendar so that it becomes effective in achieving the set objectives. Any comments and suggestions for improvements will always be welcomed so that the Secretariat can provide better services to all.
